This is a great book.  I loved it.  A lot of the Enid Blyton’s boarding school books have a similar plot … but not this one!

Enid Blyton has put a little more humour into to this book than usual.  The book also gives you a great look I to farm life in the 1930-1940.   The farmers still had thatched roves, used horse for day to day farm jobs and cows were milked by hand.   It is amazing how much was achieved without machines to help them.
